SIZE GUIDE

Measured properly. Made properly.

Every Ya Salaam piece is designed with proportion, balance, and precise drape in mind. Taking accurate measurements ensures your garment fits exactly as intended.

Follow the guide below using a soft measuring tape. Stand naturally and keep the tape relaxed against your body never tight. All measurements should be taken in inches.

If you are between sizes, always choose the slightly looser measurement for comfort and movement.

100%

HEIGHT (THAWB LENGTH)

Stand upright and relaxed. Place the tape at the highest point of your shoulder, where the neck meets the shoulder, and measure straight down to where you would like the thobe to end.

100%

SHOULDERS

Measure from the edge of one shoulder to the edge of the other. This is the natural point where your shoulders end and your arms begin. Keep the tape straight across your back.

100%

SLEEVE LENGTH

Start at the point where your shoulder meets your arm. Measure down in a straight line to your preferred sleeve length. Keep your arm relaxed.

100%

CHEST

Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest. The tape should sit close to the body while still allowing a small amount of room for comfort.

100%

WAIST

Measure around your midsection at the level of your belly button. Keep the tape relaxed, allowing enough space for ease and movement.

100%

NECK

Wrap the tape around the middle of your neck. Leave a small amount of space so the collar will feel comfortable when fastened.

100%

WRIST (CUFFED STYLES ONLY)

Measure around your wrist so the tape sits comfortably. It should allow enough room for the cuff to close neatly without feeling tight.

Fit Note

Ya Salaam pieces are designed with a balanced traditional drape — comfortable, elegant, and refined. For the intended silhouette, follow the measurements as shown.
